Wristbands
Wristbands will be given to everyone in attendance to "group" those who are looking for friends, vs those looking for a relationship. upon event check in, you will take a colored band that best describes your situation. Please be respectful to everyones wristbands and mingle accordingly.

1. What is the Age range ?? The average age range for speed dating are people from 21 into the 40s. all ages are welcome to attend, but this is the average range of attendees from all previous speeding events.
2. How does this work??for the first half of the event we host one on one conversations that last roughly 2 minutes for you to chat with your partner. After we do that, everyone is welcome to mingle with people who they haven’t yet greeted, or keep chatting with someone that they hit it off with.
3. Do I come alone or bring a friend?Whatever you want! For the first half you will not be guaranteed a spot next to your friend, but you are always welcome to hang out with them during the second half
4. What if I want to get somebody’s number?if you want somebody’s number, you have to go old-school and ask them yourself! We are working on a system for you to keep in contact if you don’t get somebody’s info, but for now it doesn’t hurt to ask;)
5. Is this only for straight people? Absolutely not! The main goal of our mingle mixer events is to make friends and new connections for any person! We are working on a way to streamline all identities so you can better meet your perfect match.If you have questions, please contact us!

Its Back! The Somebody Society is hosting a Singles slideshow event at Aloft Hotel’s Corner Bar on February 20th from 7pm-9pm. Come and present yourself or a friend or just enjoy learning about your potential match!
Those wanting to participate in presentations should send one slide including some interesting facts about themselves or their friend to louisville@thesomebodysociety.com. Please remember, these slides will be shown to a crowd of singles!! Presentations to go along with the slides should be kept between 3 and 5 minutes at the most - we have lots of amazing folks to meet! The cutoff for all presentations to be accepted into the slideshow event is 1 hour before the event starts (6pm 2/20).

Got a song you wanna share that is just SO underground? Wanna pitch your new single? How about a song you secretly love but everyone hates? Playlist night is the free-for-all mashup of all the greatest (and worst) hit’s and the best part? You get to pick the songs! We’re in Music City baby, so strap in, because you never know what you’re gonna hear at playlist night.
Each attendee will get to submit one song to be played during the night - with the opportunity to discuss why you pick it if you so choose!
Try your hardest to keep your song a secret but guess everyone else’s. Mingle and jam while grabbing a drink or a bite to eat while the music isn’t just in the background – it’s the main course! How many people can you pick in a crowd to rock Nickelback as their first choice? Would you be able to figure it out in an introduction??
Join the Somebody Society at Crazy Gnome Brewery on September 19th at 7:00 PM as we share a playlist with songs from every genre available on Spotify (see the playlist here closer to the event!

The planetarium will be ours for a nice calm yoga session, so bring your mat, a water and your yoga fit ! All are welcome to join, but there is a capacity limit, so grab your tickets now!
Yoga will be lead by Brittany Strube, a Lexington Yoga instructor who feels yoga is for everybody - so whether you are new or have a monogrammed mat, this session is for you!!

Pama Pantone Party
Pantone has chosen the most vibrant color of the year for 2023, and we are here for it! Join us on April 12th as we think pink with our drink partner Pama!!
The event will be in Louisville Kentucky at the canary Club / Breeze Bar. The event will be in their back patio space perfect to enjoy some Spring weather, cocktails, and Friends. The event will go from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and you're welcome to stay a little bit longer at the Canary Club.
Tickets will include one specialty cocktail from Pama, photo backdrop, Swag Bags, and a great chance to make some new friends just in time for summer!

Keenland Race Days are back and we obviously had to get in on the fun! Get to know The Somebody Society and our fun side at this event on the Keenland Hill. Everyone is welcome to come hang out at our tailgate and enjoy snacks and drinks.
As a social club - everyone is invited! You are welcome to attend and make new friends and get to know us for free! Different varieties of food and drink will be available, but to help us cover the costs of food and drink, please donate $20 to our venmo and enjoy ! ( we would appreciate it to help keep the events going! )
